Basic Ingredients for Baking Cake etc.

BASIC INGREDIENTS FOR BAKING CAKES ETC 1. Normal Kitchen Sugar: It is coarse grained sugar and not recommended for baking.   2. Granulated Sugar: It is finely grained sugar and used in baking cakes etc.   3. Icing Sugar: It is in powder form and used mostly for decoration/icing of cakes.   4. Brown Sugar: It is in also grainy form and recommended for baking cookies etc.   5. Soft Brown Sugar: A type of brown sugar but finely grained, soft and in dark colour.   6. Coco Powder: Used in Chocolate Cakes or icing.   7. Butter: For baking butter without whey is recommended.   8.   CHANA PULAO A very simple recipe but delicious one. Let us have a look of its making/preparation or cooking in MHK’s own style.
