INGREDIENTS FOR BAKING CAKES ETC
1. Normal Kitchen Sugar: It is coarse grained sugar and not
recommended for baking.
2. Granulated Sugar: It is finely grained
sugar and used in baking cakes etc.
3. Icing Sugar: It is in powder form and used
mostly for decoration/icing of cakes.
4. Brown Sugar: It is in also grainy form and
recommended for baking cookies etc.
5. Soft Brown Sugar: A type of brown sugar
but finely grained, soft and in dark colour.
6. Coco Powder: Used in Chocolate
Cakes or icing.
7. Butter: For baking butter
without whey is recommended.
8. Baking Powder: It is used to
reduce the texture & increase the volume of baked items
9. Baking Soda: It
is also used as per demand of recipe
10. All Purpose
Flour/Cake Flour:
11. Eggs
12. Whip Cream: Used
for icing cake etc.
