Ingredients:

Red Lintel/Sabat Masoor (ثابت مسور): 1/2 Kg

Tomato/Tamatar (ٹماٹر): 3X (Medium Size, Finely Chopped)

Onion/Pyaz (پیاز): 2X (Medium Size, Finely Chopped)

Garlic/Lahsan ka Bulb (لہسن): 1X (Fine Cut)

Green Chili/Hari Mirch (ہری مرچ): 5~6X (Fine Cut)

Red Chilli/Surkh Mirch Powder (سرخ مرچ پائوڈر): 1 Table Spoon

Coriander/Dhanya Powder (دھنیا پائوڈر): 1 Table Spoon

Turmeric/Haldi Powder (ہلدی پائوڈر): 1/2 Tea Spoon

Vanaspati/Ghee (گھی): 1 Cup

Cumin Seeds/Zeera (زیرہ): 1 Table Spoon

Water/Pani (پانی): 6 Glass

Salt/Namak (نمک): 1 Table Spoons

Cooked Cumin Seeds/Bhuna Huwa Zeera Powder (بھنا ہوا زیرہ): 1 Tea Spoon

 

For Salad:-

Green Coriander/Hara Dhanya (ہرا دھنیا): A little

Onion/Pyaz (پیاز): 3X (Medium Size, Finely Chopped)

Tomato/Tamatar (ٹماٹر): 2X (Medium Size, Finely Chopped)

Cucumber/Kheera (کھیرا): 2X (Fine Cut)

Lemon Juice/Lemon ka Rass (لیموں کا رس):2X

Salt/Namak (نمک): 1/2 Tea Spoon

Black Pepper/Kali Mirch Powder (کالی مرچ پائوڈر): 1/2 Tea Spoon

Garlic Pickle/Lahsan Ka Achar (لہسن کا اچار): 1 Tea Spoon

 

Procedure:

1. Soaked & washed in prior the lintel

دال کو پہلے سے پانی میں بھگو کر صاف کر لیا

2. Add lintel in water & let it boil

پانی میں ابلنے کے لیے ڈال دیں

3. Mix a little

ہلکا سا مکس کر لیا

4. Remove the foam floating on the surface

اوپر نظر آنے والی جھاگ کو اتار لیں

5. Add in these fresh vegetables

یہ تازہ سبزیاں بھی شامل کر لیں

6. Add in these dry spices as well

ان خشک مصالحوں کو بھی شامل کر لیں

7. Add in vanaspati & mix a Little

گھی ڈال کر تھوڑا سا مکس کیا

8. Let it cook on low flame

ڈھکن لگا کر ہلکی آنچ پر پکنے دیں

9. When start boiling, cook rice in parallel

جب ابلنے لگے تو ساتھ میں چاولوں کو بھی ابالتے ہیں

10. Cook cumin seeds in vanaspati till aroma is felt

زیرہ کو گھی میں خوشبو آنے تک پکائیں

11. Pour water when aroma is felt

جب خوشبو آنے لگے تو پانی ڈال دیا

12. Add in salt & mix well

نمک شامل کر کے مکس کر لیں

13. Here video is missed, anyhow 4 glass of rice were soaked in prior & later boiled and steam cooked as per routine.

یہاں پر ویڈیو کٹ ہو گئی ہے، جس میں 4 گلاس چاولوں کو پانی میں پہلے بھگویا ہوا تھا اور جیسے چاولوں کو ابالتے ہیں تو اس طرح ابال کر دم پر لگا لیا ہے۔

14. Add in these items and cover for a while

زیرہ اور دھنیا ڈال کر تھوڑی دیر کے لیے ڈھکن لگا دیں

15. After 15 to 20 minutes of steam cook rice are also ready

دم کے بعد چاول بھی 15 سے 20 منٹ میں تیار ہیں

16. Now make fine cut salad to serve along with

اب ہم کچومر سلاد ساتھ سرو کرنے کے لیے بناتے ہیں

17. Chop the onion fine

پیاز کو باریک چاپ کر لیں

18. Chop the tomato fine as well

ٹماٹر کو بھی کو باریک چاپ کر لیں

19. Chop the cucumber fine as well

کھیرے کو بھی کو باریک چاپ کر لیں

20. Put all these ingredients in a bowl & mix well

ان سب چیزوں کو ایک بائول میں ڈال کر اچھی طرح مکس کر لیں

21. In last make a platter to serve

آخر میں ایک پلیٹر بنا لیتے ہیں

22. Any pickle can also be served along with

کوئی سا بھی اچار ساتھ رکھا جا سکتا ہے

23. Serve to guests accordingly
