Gurr and peanut Gachak

 

Jaggery & Peanut Chunk/Candy (گڑ اور مونگ پھلی کی گچک) is a mouthwatering & delicious sweat recipe, which can easily be made at home after watching this video. Ingredients:

1. Jaggery (گڑ): 250 Grams/1.5 Cups

2. Peanuts (مونگ پھلی): 200 Grams /2 Cups

3. Vanaspati (گھی): 2 Table Spoons

4. Salt (نمک): 1 Pinch

Procedure:

1. Grease the tray with oil to set the chunks of jaggery peanuts.

 

2. Pour Vanaspati in the pan and let it melt.

 

3. Add jaggery and let it melt for required consistence.

 

4. When it starts melting hammer through spatula to break the lumps.

 

5. When melted turn the flame to low, add salt mix well.

 

6. Pour the puree in a normal water if it is broken easily, means ready.

 

7. Add peanut (Whole & Crushed), mix well thoroughly.

 

8. Transfer the batter in the tray and spread it immediately.

 

9. Grease rolling pin with oil/ghee and further press/spread the batter with it.

 

 

Tip-1: Keep the flame medium until the jaggery is melted.

Tip-2: When the jaggery is melted turn the flame too low for further process.
