Russian Salad

 

Fruits are natural resource of numerous health benefits and encompass a to z of human body needs and requirements. As each fruit has its own properties and difficult to explain qualities of each.

Russian Salad is a very simple recipe and here we are going to reveal in such a manner that everyone could made it easily. It is made from very limited ingredients and fruits and vegetables are the key ingredients. Now let’s see what the required ingredients are and how to make this simple, easy, quick and delicious/tasty recipe in our kitchen at home.


Ingredients

1. Potato (آلو): 3X (Medium Size; cut in cubes)

2. Green Peas (مٹر): 1 Cup

3. Carrots (گاجر): 3X (Medium Size cut in cubes)

4. Apple (سیب): 3~4X (Medium Size cut in cubes)

5. Guava (امرود): 2X (Medium Size cut in cubes)

6. Pine Apple (انناس) Chunks: 1/2 Cup

7. Pomegranate (انار): 1 Cup

8. Sugar (چینی) : 3~4X Table Spoons

9. Fresh Cream (بالائی): 200 Ml (1 Cup)

10. Mayonnaise (مایونیز) : 200 Ml (1 Cup)

11. Pistachio (پستہ): 2 Table Spoon (Cut In half)

12. Raisins (کشمش): 2 Table Spoon

13. Wall Nut (اخروٹ): 2 Table Spoon (Cut In half)

14. White/Black Pepper (سفید یا کالی مرچ): 1 Tea Spoon

15. Lemon Juice: 1 Table Spoon

16. Salt (نمک): 1 Tea Spoon


Procedure

Step-1: Place the water on medium flame and let it boil. After that add potatoes, carrots and peas; Boil them for 4~5 minutes.

Step-2: When the vegetables are boiled, off the flame and strain it through cold water to give refreshing look to vegetables.

Step-3: Now pour one by one, fresh cream, mayonnaise, sugar, salt, lemon juice and black/white pepper and mix thoroughly with whisk.

Step-4: After that add all fruits, boiled vegetables and dry fruits one by one and mix them well.

Step-5: In last garnish with leftover of pomegranate fruit, pine apple chunks, pistachio, raisins, walnuts etc. and present it.
