Generally it is known that mustard oil is
only for hairs but Nature has enriched it with many more health benefits. Apart
from its use for hair it is also used in cooking after a simple process which
is going to be displayed in our video. Its health benefits are many which
require a long session however some benefits are as under:-
It is full of Vitamin “E”, Omega 3 &
Omega 6, which is very much beneficial for human health. It is very much
helpful for weight loss, lowers the bad cholesterol, fight against many cancers
and easy to digest. Besides it is easily available across the globe. More
interestingly it has been proven by the research that due to very much balance
ingredients in mustard oil it is far better than olive oil.
Let us have a look of its making/preparation
or cooking in MHK’s own style. We are going to make it in simple, easy and
quick way to add an interesting main course meal dish:
Ingredients:
Mustard Oil: 5 Liter
Piece of Chapati
Procedure:
Step-1: Pour oil in a pot on medium
flame and let it to be warm, add piece of chappati and let it to boil.
Step-2: When it starts to boil turn
the flame low to medium and let it cook for until colour of the chappati turns
to dark brown.
Step-3: After 1~2 hours of cooking colour of the mustard oil has
been lightened.
Step-4: Now let it to be cool at room
temperature and then pour it in required container for further use.
Tips:-
Tip: Never cook the oil on high flame.
Tip-2: Use of chappati is as
temperature gauge. Moreover it also absorbs the impurities of the oil.
Tip-3: Never cover it
with the lid until it cools otherwise steam/water vapors may accumulate on the
lid and that may fall again in the oil which is not good for oil.
