Let us have a look of its making/preparation or cooking in MHK’s own style. We are going to make it in simple, easy and quick way to add an interesting main course meal dish:

Ingredients for Bread Halwa:

Milk (دودھ): 1/2 Liters (02 Cups)

Bread (ڈبل روٹی):  8 Pieces (Cuts from edges)

Sugar (چینی): 1/2 Cup (100 Grams) or as per taste

Eggs (انڈے) : 2X

Ghee (گھی): 1/2 Cup (100 Grams)

Almond (بادام) , Pistachio (پستہ) , Raisins (کشمش) 2 Table Spoon Each

Cardamom (الائیچی) Powder: 1/2 Tea Spoon

Kewra (کیوڑہ) Essence: 1/2 Tea Spoon

Procedure for Making of Bread Halwa:

Step-1: Pour milk & Eggs in blender and mix for a short while

Step-2: Add slices one by one in the mixture and blend thoroughly.

 

Step-3: Place the pot on low flame and cook the mixture of water and sugar till it is melted.

 

Step-4: Now add ghee and cook further at low flame until the colour of sugar become visible.

 

Step-5: Add Cardamom Powder and bread batter at very low flame in this mixture and mix thoroughly.

 

Step-6: Cook the whole batter at low to medium flame till the ghee come out from the edges...

 

Step-7: Add Almond (بادام) , Pistachio (پستہ) , Raisins (کشمش)  now and cook further.

 

Step-8: Add Kewra essence and mix further and dish out for serving.

 

Tips for Making of Batter Bread Halwa:

1. Use hard spatula for mixing and cooking of halwa.

2. Add the batter in mixture carefully.

3. When the whole batter starts moving with spatula means the halwa is ready.
