Egg Mince or Bhujya

Eggs Mince or Bhujya:

Eggs are such an economical but high quality source of natural nutrients that are easily available at door steps everywhere across the globe. It is occupied with an appropriate quantity of Vitamins A, B(B2, B5, B6, B12), D, E and proteins. Besides it is enriched with natural minerals like iron iodine, phosphorus, zinc, iron and copper selenium etc. Its white and yolk both are filled with separate nutrient qualities to maintain the health quality of human being on daily basis.

Egg is used or cooked in different forms/style all over the world, full boiled or half, full fried or half or omelettes in different style. Its combinations with others while cooking are also very popular among people of all walks of life.  Although books are required to elaborate the benefits of using eggs but here are some glimpse of the same:

ü  It improves the adequacy of nutrients in our diet

ü  It raise the Good cholesterol (HDL) and at the same time control the bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood 

ü  Very useful for weight loss and to improve brain health

ü  It also maintain health level of our heart, bones, eyes and hairs etc

Precaution:

To check the freshness or usefulness of the eggs before eating one should pass it through a simple test by dipping each in the water.

ü  If it lays flat at the bottom means it is fresh and enjoy it

ü  If it sink but stand on either of its ends means not as such fresh but in edible condition

ü  If floats on the surface means it is rotten & to be thrown away safely because it stench is very uncomfortable.

Our Recipe is unique in taste as one cannot judge easily that it is either a chicken mince karahi or bhujya of eggs. It is a very simple, quick and a tasty main course meal dish and especially very much helpful to cater the situation when no other gravy or item is available to cook. Let’s see its simple ingredients:

Ingredients for Making of Egg Mince or Bhujya:

  1. Egg: 06
  2. Onion (پیاز ): 02 (Medium size and cut in small pieces)
  3. Tomato (ٹماٹر): 3~4 (Medium size and cut in small pieces)
  4. Oil: 1/2 Cup
  5. Green Chili (ہری مرچ ): 3~4 (fine cut)
  6. Garlic+ Ginger(لہسن اور ادرک) Paste: 1 Table spoon
  7. Coriander (دھنیا) Powder: 1 Tea Spoon
  8. Turmeric (ہلدی)  Powder: 1/2 Tea Spoon
  9. Salt (نمک) : 1 Tea Spoon
  10. Red Chili (سرخ مرچ ): 1/2 Tea Spoon
  11. Crushed Red Chili دڑا مرچ) ): 1/2 Tea Spoon
  12. Curry Leaves (کری پتے) : Few
  13. Spices (گرم مصالحہ) Powder: 1/2 Tea Spoon
  14.  Cumin (زیرا)Powder: 1/2  Tea Spoon

Procedure for Making of Egg Mince or Bhujya::

Step-1: Place pan on stove on medium flame and pore oil and onion in the pan and fry the onions until colour turns into golden brown

Step-2: Add Garlic+ Ginger (لہسن اور ادرک) paste and fry for few moments at same flame then add all spices (except Cumin & Spices) along with some quantity of water and fry again at low flame for few minutes.

Step-3: Pore tomato (ٹماٹر) in the mixture now and after stirring for few moments steam cook for 3~4 minutes at medium flame

Step-4: When tomato (ٹماٹر) become soft, fry further for some minutes until oil is getting apart from the gravy

Step-5: Here now add mixture of beaten eggs and green chili (ہری مرچ ) and fry further while continuously stirring until gravy become granular (دانے دار)

Step-6: At last stage add Cumin and spice powder along with remaining green chilies in the gravy and steam cook for 1~2 minutes then it is ready to eat/serve.

 

Tips for Batter Egg Mince or Bhujya:

To make the taste unique and confusing for user stir continuously after poring beaten eggs until the gravy turns into granulated form
