Tomato Pulao (ٹماٹر کا پلائو) is a unique, healthy & tasty main course meal recipe especially for rice lovers. Ingredients:

1. Basmati Rice (چاول): 1 Kg
2. Tomato (ٹماٹر): 750 Grams
3. Oil (تیل): 1/2 Cup
4. Cumin Seeds (سفید زیرہ) : 1 Table Spoon
5. Bay Leaves (تیز پات): 2X
6. Star Anis (بادیان کے پھول): 2X
7. Black Cardamom (موٹی الائچی): 2X
8. Clove (لونگ): 4~5X
9. Cinnamon Sticks (دار چینی):
3~4X
10. Onion (پیاز): 3X (Medium size & slice cut)
11. Garlic+Ginger Paste (لہسن ادرک پیسٹ): 3 Table Spoons
12. Coriander Powder (دھنیا): 1 Table Spoon
13. Red Chili Powder (): 1 Table Spoon
14. Salt (نمک): 2 Table Spoons
15. Turmeric Powder (ہلدی): 1/2 Tea Spoon
16. Pulao Cubes: 2X
17. Tomatoes: 3X (Fine cut)
18. Mint leaves (پودینا): Hand full
19. Whole Dry Red Chili (ثابت سرخ مرچ): 6~7X

Procedure:
*-***-*-*-***-*-*-*-*-*
1. Pour oil in cooking pot and let it hot.
2. Add whole spices and fry till aroma is felt.
3. Add in onion and fry till it gets golden brown.
4. Add in ginger & garlic paste, fry till its smell is felt.
5. Now add in powder spices & fry further at low flame.
6. Give a splash of water and mix a little.
7. Add in pulao cubes and mix again.
8. Now add that paste, mix well & cover with lid.
9. After 5 minutes remove the lid & cook further till the oil separates.
10. Add in water and mix a little and cover until boils.
11. Now transfer the soaked rice, mix gently & let it boil.
12. Water is now almost dried up, add tomatoes, mint leaves & whole red chili.
13. Steam cook initially for 5 minutes on medium flame & 10 minutes on low flame.
14. In the meantime let us prepare rose from tomatoes.
15. In last open the steam cook & in parallel cooked potato slice also taken out.
Tip-1: Water for boiling depends upon the quality of rice.
Tip-2: Water in the gravy should also be included in measurement for boiling.
