ZUBAN KAY GOSHT KA SAALAN / Tounge Meet Curry

Let us have a look of its making/preparation or cooking in MHK’s own style. We are going to make it in simple, easy and quick way to add an interesting main course meal dish:

 

Ingredients:

Tongue Beef (زبان کا گوشت) : 3/4 KG (750 Grams)

Oil (تیل) : 1 Cup

Onion (پیاز) : 2X (Medium Size)

Ginger (ادرک) + Garlic(لہسن)  Paste: 2 Table Spoon

Tomato (ٹماٹر)Paste: 2X Medium Size

Yogurt (دہی) : 250 Grams

Spices Mixture (گرم مصالحہ): 1/2 Tea Spoon

Cinnamon (دار چینی) : 2~3 Pieces

Green Cardamom (سبز الائچی) : 2X

Black Cardamom (کالی الائچی) : 1X

Clove (لونگ) : 4X

Black Pepper (کالی مرچ) : 8~10X

Coriander Powder (دھنیا پائوڈر) : 1 Table Spoon

Turmeric Powder (ہلدی پائوڈر) :1/2 Tea Spoon

Red Chili Powder (سرخ مرچ) : 1 Tea Spoon

Salt (نمک) : 1 Tea Spoon (or as per taste)

Procedure:

Step-1: Pour oil in cooking pot and let it hot.

Step-2: Fry the onion till it gets transparent on high flame and further brown it on medium flame.

Step-3: Add mix whole spices along with Ginger+Garlic paste and further cook.

Step-4: Add Tongue Beef and cook for five minutes

Step-5: Add spices and cook further till smell of spices is felt

Step-6: Now pour paste of tomatoes and mix well.

Step-7: After a while add well beated yogurt and cook further for almost 10 minutes.

Step-8: Add 3 Cups of water and further cook in pressure cooker for 20 minutes after the whistle is blown

Step-9: After that in last add 1/2 Tea Spoon of Mix Spices Powder 4X Green Chilies and steam cook for a short while & Dish out.
