An effort to learn how to make a cake sponge at home with minimum ingredients. It is a sort of tutorial or vlog for beginners and hope it would be helpful for those who are interested in baking and want to learn in this regard. MHK hope that it will be a beneficial effort for the beginners and for the rest as well. Now we see the ingredients and you will be surprised to see that how the cake is being made with bare minimum ingredients.
**************************** Basic Ingredients ****************************
All Purpose Flour/Cake Flour (Maida): 1/2 Cup (50 Grams)
Granulated Sugar: 1/4 Cup (50 Grams)
Eggs: 2X
Baking Powder: 1/2 Tea Spoon
Vanilla Essence: 1/2 Tea Spoon
**************************** Procedure ****************************
Step-1: Prepare mold for baking; grease the inner with oil and place butter paper in the bottom.
Step-2: Beat eggs with the beater slightly, then add sugar gradually and mix well till it becomes white and fluffy.
Step-3: Add vanilla essence and mix it well.
Step-4: Now pour cake flour in a bowl, add baking powder and mix thoroughly.
Step-5: Add that mixed cake flour in eggs mixture with cut and fold technique slowly & gradually. Step-6: When the mixture is ready then pour it in the mold.
Step-7: Tap it, stir it with a suitable stick and place it in pre-heated oven at 170
Step-8: After 30minutes cake is ready and to check it insert a stick in the middle and if it is dry than cake sponge is ready.
Step-9: Take out the cake from mold, remove the butter paper and use further accordingly.
