Doodh Dullari

 

It is a unique dessert recipe made from milk and other healthy ingredients which is not sufficient for our health but also satisfy our taste buds. Let us have a look of its making/preparation or cooking in MHK’s own style. We are going to make it in simple, easy and quick way to add an interesting main course meal dish:

Ingredients for Making of Doodh Dullari:

Milk (دودھ): 2 Liters

Vermicelli (رنگین سویاں): 3/4 Cup (100~110 Grams)

Sugar (چینی): 3 (1/2 Cup or 100 Grams)

Cham Cham(چم چم) : 250 Grams

Fruit Cocktail (فروٹ کاکٹیل): 1 Tin (800 Grams)

Colour Jelly (رنگین جیلی): 3 Packets

Corn Flour (کارن فلور): 4 Table Spoon

Mix Dry Fruit Almond, Pistachio, Raisins (مکس ڈرائی فروٹ): 3 Table Spoon

Cardamom (الائیچی) Powder: 1/2 Tea Spoon

Milk Cream (بالائی): 200 ml

Procedure for Making of Doodh Dullari:

Step-1: Pour milk in a pan on stove and let it boil for a short while. At the same time left some milk to make a mixture of it with corn flour for later use.

Step-2: Add Cardamom powder and vermicelli in milk and let it boil at high flame while stirring in it. 

Step-3: Now add sugar along with a small quantity of dry fruit and let it cook further.

Step-4: When milk is boiled add corn flour slowly in it so that it could be dissolved thoroughly. 

Step-5: After that off the flame and let it to be cool to process further.

Step-6: When the temperature of mixture become normal add cream slowly and thoroughly in it.

Step-7: We are assembling the whole ingredients in layer forms:-

a. 1st layer of cooked vermicelli and milk mixture

b. 2nd Layer of fruit cocktail

c. 3rd layer of cham cham

d. 4th layer of colour full jellies

e. 5th layer of dry fruits

f. Repeat the same process for further layers

Step-8: Now our doodh dullari is ready let it cool in refrigerator overnight and then serve accordingly. 

 

Tip-1: Never mix cream in hot batter otherwise it may release ghee and batter become spoiled.
