This is 2 in 1 recipe video which will tell us How to make Desi ghee from the cream of fresh milk and How the dumpling (حلوہ) of flour (which is used in preparation of ghee) is made as a byproduct. It is a very simple way of making pure/khalis Desi Ghee from the cream of fresh milk which is obtained from it after boiling.

Desi ghee is a very important food item and very much popular in the sub-continent. As it is made from original raw material and have the purity (خالص پن) at it's best therefore it is a little bit expensive than Vanaspati ghee or oil. It is usually made from Cow, Buffalo or Goat milk but in general desi ghee of cow milk is very much popular. In subcontinent desi ghee from buffalo milk is very much popular and liked.

Desi ghee is a rich source of different vitamins especially Vitamin "A" & Fatty acids Omega-3 along with Soluble vitamins which gives us the following benefits:-

a. It is very useful for bones health

c. It keeps the skin soft & smooth in all weathers as it is a natural moisturizer

d. Useful for congested nose

e. Keep ourselves warm

f. Very useful for intestinal health

g. Very useful in constipation

h. It is also good for heart health

i. It also work as a strong antiviral, anti-cancer and a microbial instrument

Warning:- It must be used in balanced way as 2~3 spoons a day otherwise these benefits could be turned into drawbacks.
